Early Academics Meet Joyful Exploration
Our Pre-Scholars preschool program provides three-year-olds with a structured, engaging environment to ask questions, build independence, and prepare for the next stage of learning. Through reading, writing, math, science, technology, manipulative play, and social interaction, children strengthen early academic skills while still having plenty of room to explore, play, and grow.
With a 1:10 teacher-to-student ratio and breakfast, lunch, and snack included, each day is designed to support confidence, care, and kindergarten readiness.
Designed for Preschoolers
Classroom Environment
Our Pre-Scholars classroom is designed for children ages 3-4 who are ready for more structured learning while still benefiting from plenty of play and exploration. The environment provides opportunities for reading, writing, math, science, technology, hands-on activities, and learning centers while helping children strengthen independence, communication, social skills, and classroom routines.
Each child has a personal sleeping cot that is disinfected daily, while toys, bathrooms, and classroom materials are sanitized regularly. With two teachers and a maximum of 20 children, we maintain a 1:10 teacher-student ratio that allows Pre-Scholars to receive guidance and support as they build the skills needed for VPK and kindergarten.
Building Kindergarten-Ready Confidence
Frog Street Threes Curriculum
Our Pre-Scholars use Frog Street Threes, a research-based curriculum aligned with the Florida Standards for Early Learning. Through nine thematic units, hands-on activities, books, stories, songs, and classroom routines, three-year-olds build language, vocabulary, social-emotional skills, phonics, numbers, letters, shapes, colors, and reading comprehension.
Structured Academic Growth
Teachers guide Pre-Scholars through more focused instruction in phonemic awareness, phonics, sight words, handwriting, math, and language development. Student growth is observed and assessed regularly, allowing teachers to differentiate instruction, provide one-on-one support, and help each child master important preschool learning milestones.
Christian Values
Age-appropriate Christian materials introduce Bible stories that help children begin building character, kindness, and Godly values. During center time, Pre-Scholars explore books, toys, and hands-on materials independently, while families receive daily updates on meals, naps, potty breaks, classroom activities, and special moments.
