Designed for Young Toddlers
Classroom Environment
Our Intelligent Ones classroom is designed for children ages 12-24 months as they become more mobile, curious, and independent. Large open floor space with colorful play mats and rugs gives toddlers room to crawl, walk, explore, and participate in circle time while teachers provide attentive guidance and encouragement.
Each child has a personal crib or sleeping mat that is disinfected daily, while toys and diapering areas are sanitized regularly to help maintain a clean environment. With two teachers and a maximum of 12 children, we maintain a 1:6 teacher-student ratio so toddlers receive consistent supervision, individual attention, and plenty of support as they explore their surroundings.
Learning Through Senses, Stories, & Play
FunShine Buttercups Curriculum
Our Intelligent Ones learn through FunShine Buttercups, a theme-based curriculum created for toddlers ages 12-24 months. Through daily routines, hands-on materials, sensory activities, and open-ended questions, children build creativity, early problem-solving, confidence, and growth across language, social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Language, Music & Discovery
Songs, stories, outdoor play, simple lessons, and movement fill each day with meaningful discovery. Teachers support communication through sign language, picture cards, vocabulary practice, and animated interaction, helping toddlers develop new skills through warm, trusting relationships.
Faith-Filled Beginnings
Christian stories and age-appropriate materials introduce toddlers to kindness, love, and early character development. During center time, children explore books, toys, and hands-on activities independently, while families receive daily updates on meals, naps, diapering, classroom activities, and special moments.
